How YATS
works.

Your dating life, with a little backup. Here's the whole thing in a few minutes.

From first plan to private review

  1. Sign in

Enter your email and we send a short code. No password to remember. In Profile you can add a passkey (sign in with your fingerprint, face or device lock) or an authenticator app for extra protection.

  2. Plan a date

Pick what you'll do, when and where. Search for a public place, or choose a private or home date. For home dates YATS never stores an address, so share it with your date yourself.

  3. Invite them

Add their email. They get a private link that shows nothing until they confirm it's really them with a code. Only that person's email can open it.

  4. They reply

They accept or decline, and you're informed. Either of you can suggest a new time (a raincheck). Your confirmed plan only changes once you both agree.

  5. Check in afterwards

After the date you can leave a private review and notes. Only you can ever see them. Not your date, not the AI.

  6. Keep your People timeline

Add the people you're seeing: when you met, how, and the moments that mattered. Dates you plan attach themselves. It's private to you.

Were you invited on a date?

Open the link in your email, enter the code we send to that same address, then accept, decline or suggest another time. You never have to sign up. Your reply goes to the person who invited you.

What YATS never does

  • Book, pay or send anything for you without you choosing to
  • Show anyone your reviews or private notes
  • Let the AI read your reviews, notes or People
  • Store the address of a private or home date
  • Reveal a date to someone until they've confirmed their email

Questions people ask

Does my date see my reviews or notes?

No. Reviews and private notes are visible only to you. If you want to say something to your date, that's a separate message you write, preview and choose to send.

What if they don't have an account?

They don't need one. The invitation link works with their email and a code. They can make an account later if they like.

Does YATS book anything for me?

No. YATS never books, pays or sends anything on your behalf without you pressing the button. Venue details are suggestions you confirm with the venue yourself.

What does the AI sidekick see?

Only what you type to it, plus a date's plan if you attach one and allow it in Profile. It never sees your reviews, notes or People. Anything it drafts is labelled, and you decide whether to use it.

Can I change or cancel a date?

Yes. Edit details while the date is upcoming. If the time changes on a date you've already invited someone to, they have to agree first. Cancelling tells the other person only if an invitation had actually gone out. You can remove a cancelled date from your own list.

Does YATS send me lots of email?

Only what's needed: sign-in codes, invitations, replies and changes to plans, and optional reminders you can turn off in Profile.

How do I take my data or delete my account?

In Profile, download a copy of everything, or ask to delete. We email a confirmation link and nothing is erased until you use it. Upcoming dates are cancelled or declined and the other person is informed.

Who can I tell if something feels wrong?

Use the feedback option inside the app and we'll read it. If you ever feel unsafe on a date, put your safety first and contact local emergency services.
